What can I expect in a normal service?
As a community, we strive to be in the present and honor the past. For example: preaching works to address the issues of the contemporary world while other parts of the service embrace the liturgical traditions of our Christian heritage. At New Bethel, our worship music is mixture of traditional and contemporary selections. Overall, a typical service usually lasts about an hour.
In terms of attire: Come as you are, we are informal in our dress.
We also have hearing assistance headsets available for use during worship. If you would like to use one, please ask and we will help you obtain one.
Where do I park?
We have a paved parking lot and a small overflow lot can be used at God’s Bounty Food Pantry just to the east. The entrance with access to the elevator is from the white entryway with red doors located at the main parking lot [for security reasons, this entrance is locked about 10:45 on Sunday mornings]. We also gladly provide handicapped parking spots and parking designated for guests. Our main sanctuary entrance faces Southeastern Avenue and is through the double glass doors at the top of the steps.
